Information for presenters

General guidelines
Audience: The Marine Science conference is the main forum for interdisciplinary marine science within the UK, and also attracts contributions from researchers from Europe and further afield.

The scientific programme highlights the following themes:
    Advances in ocean observing systems
    The interface of biota and their environment
    Climate: ocean and atmosphere
    Sustainable exploitation of the oceans

Oral presentations
Oral presentations should be 15 minutes long, with an additional five minutes for questions.
Authors are encouraged to use MS PowerPoint for their presentations. Please ensure that talks are loaded onto the projection computer system before the session and that you check-in with the session chairman.
Talks will take place in the Science Lecture Theatres A and B (building No. 40 on the University of Liverpool precinct plan).

Poster presentations
The display size for poster presentations will be A0 portrait (approx width 84 cm × height 120 cm).
Poster sessions will take place in The Courtyard in the Guild of Students (building No. 36 on the University of Liverpool precinct plan).

The summary programme is now available. The final programme will be posted shortly. Information packs for delegates and presenters will be sent via e-mail in early August.

Please note the deadline for early registration is the end of July, the accommodation booking service finishes on 2nd August. Book early and avoid disappointment!
