INDIA Project Meetings

Modellers Meeting
The date and venue for the Modellers Progress Meeting has now been fixed and will be held in Lisbon, probably at HIDROMOD offices, if space is available, and either at IST or LNEC, if not. An all-day meeting on Friday March 10th 2000 is proposed with travel to Lisbon on Thursday 9th. Return date depends on progress at the meeting. Please let Adelio know your travel and accommodation requirements as soon as possible, with a copy to LU for information. All partners are welcome.

INDIA Progress Meeting
The date and venue for the next formal progress meeting has been moved to the 22nd and 23rd May 2000. It is hoped that people will travel on Saturday 20th May; that Sunday will be available for a site visit to a local dune field etc; and that they will return home on Wednesday 24th May 2000. The new venue is the port of Arcachon. Helena has made a provisional booking but needs to know people's travel and accommodation arrangements as soon as possible. Please send a copy to LU for information.

Future Meetings
The final "wrap-up" meeting on INDIA is likely to be held in Faro during the week beginning 25th September 2000, which coincides with a Conference at the University of the Algarve and follows the Coastal Environment Conference in Las Palmas. If you have any views or ideas, please let LU know as soon as possible.
