Western Irish Sea Initial Salinity
This shows sensitivity to initial salinity in the western Irish Sea.
The salinity structure in the Western Irish Sea appears to have quite a surprising effect on the temperature structure there. Comparing temperature profiles at the SWIS site (loc79) between two runs with different initial salinity conditions we see that there is an effect on the thermocline thickness.
